Michael Combe

Michael first started endurance back in the 1989 and soon became part of the Tenterfield club. His two daughters found Endurance Riding more fun than Pony Club and Michael became their strapper and the girls enjoyed success and disappointments as juniors.
Michael eventually got to compete more himself and has completed a Quilty and the Marathon Shahzada ride as well as numerous training and endurance rides.
Michael is a Chief steward and the current Club President and believes the Tenterfield Ride is one of the best on the ride calendar for its track and ride base. Michael is a committed barefoot trimmer and his horses enjoy the comfort and performance of booted/barefoot hooves. Michael loves the camaraderie of endurance, the physical challenge, sense of achievement and
lessons in life that come with the sport of endurance.
